EYFS Curriculum

EYFS: EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE

Ages: 3 years old and 4 years old

Early Years Foundation Stage comprises of Foundation Stage 1 (FS1) and Foundation Stage 2 (FS2). Initiation into the school through fun-filled and stimulating activities by caring teachers helps each student to view schooling very positively, an attitude that contributes immensely towards developing lifelong learning skills . The new Early Years programme  ensures that children are suitably prepared for the holistic development of every individual child, developing their self-esteem, social and communication skills.

NCfE Curriculum

Ages: 5 years old to 14 years old

Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2), Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6) and Key Stage 3 (Year 7 and Year 9)

In these years of school, students lay a solid foundation for learning that they will use for the rest of their lives. The National Curriculum for England has a very structured flow of learning that challenges and assesses students to ensure development in key academic areas is being met.

IGCSE/AS/A Level Curriculum

Ages: 14 years old to 17 years old

Key Stage 4 (Year 10 to Year 11), Key Stage 5 - Post -16 - (Year 12 & 13)

The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), AS (Advanced Subsidiary), and A level (Advanced Level) study programme is a widely recognized and respected educational pathway followed by students in many countries, particularly in the United Kingdom and international schools worldwide. This study programme offers a comprehensive and internationally recognized educational pathway, providing students with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills and opening doors to higher education and future opportunities.

Assessments

Assessments serve various purposes and are guided by a vision that aligns with their goals. At TWS, our assessments aim to enhance students' learning experiences while aligning with the National agenda parameters. By aligning the purpose and vision of our assessments, we can create a more effective, equitable, and inspiring learning environment that supports student success and fosters lifelong learning.
